So I’m not an American but I’m very familiar with life in the US and the problems it presents for the average man. I completely agree that being MGTOW is the only way to avoid financial disaster there.

But I want to dispel the notion that living in a trad con society would solve a lot of those problems. I live in a relatively conservative society that is still heavily patriarchal. I am a single young man that has built a successful e- commerce business so I live very well in comparison to my peers.

However the fact that I am wealthy has brought gold diggers out of the woodwork. I honestly can’t trust anybody. And the fact that I’m now in my late twenties with marriage not in sight means I am receiving heavy pressure and shaming from my family and women in general. People refuse to accept that I’m not gay and don’t have a secret lover. I’m not a pedo. That I don’t have a medical condition that affects my manhood. That I just don’t want to do the whole family and kids thing. It’s like I’m a leper. So my family wants to keep me around because I have resources, but at the same time I’m a source of shame and humiliation for the family because I didn’t do what everybody expected me to do. You get older, you get married and have kids. Full stop. There is no alternative.

So at least you guys in the US live in a society where being single for any period of time is ok and you’re not seen as a degenerate.
