After the incel drama, I found out about this subreddit (as have many others) and started reading some of the newer posts and also the past year's top posts.

I have had short relationships with women, but I've never felt like I prefer being with them over being alone. I find it very bothersome to put crazy amounts of time into someone and to have loads of obligations. Towards women, I feel mostly indifferent. I don't chase relationships in any way, but I'm also not opposed to having one if I felt that the woman was VERY independent and also had her own life. I can imagine being happy without ever having another relationship until the end of my life as much as I can imagine having one. The only thing I wouldn't want would be any relationship that has more detriments than benefits (in any way, really [be it money, health, happiness, whatever]) and I would never again get into a relationship just for the sake of having one.

Reading some of the older and newer posts, I noticed that there is a lot of hate posting going on or posting that seeks to justify your status as MGTOW. (Be it posts that either show women in a bad light, show a very one-sided perspective on a topic, show how difficult everything is for men while women have it easy or some special individual cases)

I wouldn't dream of making or supporting such posts, but I believe to share the general mindset of many people here, hence me wondering if I belong to this community or not.
