In the past, they didn't have the options they do now. With more freedom comes poorer selfish decisions. Before it was harder to get a divorce and it was frowned upon as was cheating on your husband. Society tended to condemn cheating women than men back then. Now society encourages women to cheat because having sex is empowering (rather than being independent and going into lucrative careers like STEM, etc...)

I would suggest that 100% cheat.

However I wouldn't hold it against them b/c I don't think this marriage thing (1 mate forever) is the best way anyways. I would like to see a day where men aren't a 2nd class citizen compared to the 1st class woman and people were paid and treated upon their own merit.

It's completely logical for women to cheat more because they have much more oppurtunities for it. Any woman can have new dick within hours via Tinder. As far as men are concerned, only very attractive ones can easily find sidechicks.
