There is nothing on /r/MGTOW that is comparable to what got /r/Incels banned. And while I will not claim that any of the alleged violations below are actually what /r/Incels did to get banned, I can say with fair certainty that /r/MGTOW does not violate the Reddit content policy.

Content is prohibited if it:

1) Is Illegal.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to identify instances where that subreddit has discussed how to skirt the law to cop a feel, or how to drug women and the like.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We do not post about how to rape women. We do not post ways to get away with criminal activity. In fact, we do the exact opposite, by discussing how strict the laws are, and how easy it is to become accused under the law as it stands now. We do not conspire to commit crimes against women. We suggest avoidance of women.

2) Is involuntary pornography.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to identify instances where that subreddit has discussed revenge porn, shared creepshots, and the like.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We do not post videos or pictures that have not already been posted elsewhere. We do not distribute revenge porn. We do not take or post candid photos for the purpose of sexual arousal. We suggest avoidance of women, not revenge or exploitation of them.

3) Encourages or incites violence.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to identify instances where that subreddit has discussed murder, rape, torture, and other atrocities as the correct response to their plight.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We may discuss the injustice that men, as a class or as a sex, are subjected to, but we believe that a peaceful, non-violent détente is a better alternative than any violence against others.

4) Threatens, harasses, or bullies or encourages others to do so.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to identify instances where that subreddit encourages harassment and intimidation towards women who deny them sex, or courtesy, or other things.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We may discuss the injustice that men, individually and collectively, are subjected to, but we believe that seeking revenge through targeted harassment and intimidation is unproductive and petty. We believe in discussing the injustice as evidence of why we should cease contact with others, not as a pretext for further, malicious contact.

5) Is personal and confidential information.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to identify instances where that subreddit encourages doxxing, or researching and revealing personal details about other people who criticize or insult them somehow.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We do not doxx. We do not believe that doxxing serves any legitimate purpose, and we believe that doxxing undermines the free exchange of ideas, information, and arguments that we MGTOW enjoy. Posts we critique that show a screenshot or an argument with personally identifiable information have that personally identifiable information redacted.

5) Impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner.

Those who have worked to remove /r/Incels have claimed to be in the possession of an alleged /r/Incel member who pretended to be a woman to discover legal advice about rape reporting. Sock puppet account and throwaway account activity is said to be high, and used for nefarious purposes.

This does not apply to /r/MGTOW. We do not encourage the impersonation of who we are. We do not promote deception. We simply want to be left alone to discuss what we discuss, free from entanglements.

6) Is spam.

Outside of automated bots, we do not post advertisements or board clutter.
