It's not necessarily the country but the location within. Most cities are unsuitable for me since keeping a dog is difficult unless it's a tiny animal. I've researched this and came to the conclusion that a small French village house with a hectare of land would be ideal. Then came Brexit.

Out here in the middle of the United States is pretty good, most small towns 40,000 or less still cling to traditional values, at least for the next generation or so. There isn't outright feminism but there are plenty of entitled women. You can get an acreage here with no farmland for probably less than 70k. Weather sucks but every place has their own weather issues. Racism isn't too bad as long as you act like a decent human being usually, people will be suspicious of you in the smaller communities but that's more tribalism than racism honestly. Medicine is needed so badly out here you can get a job basically anywhere, especially if your a doctor. That being said, you can't avoid women in the medical field.

Egyptian housing market is skyrocketing like SpaceX. A 2 bedroom apartment with a massive community water park and water slides, plus a gym, indoor parking, 24/7 security and a gated community can cost around £15,000. You'll also be around the holiday destinations.

You can buy it as an investment and rent it out for now but retire later. Living cost is cheap and people rarely give a shit about shit.
