All men in IT here, but our CTO has this annoying cunt he keeps around to do his bitch work. She is the definition of why you don't have women in the office. I could write a fucking novel right now on how shitty she is, and it still wouldn't portray how fucking terrible she is as a human being.

Senior Sys Admin here. We are fully male IT.

Word to the wise....if you work for a tech service business that offers any type of hosting services... and you speak to a potential client who asks if you have an all male team...that's probably me.

We are currently migrating all of our systems to the cloud. And if any company places bids and a female is the "account manager" or "lead sales" or any fucking thing...the email goes into the delete folder.

And if any of you in IT are considering TPX or Telepacific for your VOIP provider....fucking run. That place is a shit house of all women with the few men being swamp doing all the work. I literally tried to get a RMA phone and the email thread had 12...literally...not exaggerating...fucking women on the threat with the end result being a ticket opened for a man to handle. It took 2 fucking weeks to get a new phone.

At one point. In IT you start high but you cap out not that much higher. It's almost not worth progressing your IT career and getting a bunch of extremely difficult certifications just to make not really that much more.

Its not even something very scalable unless you're the product controller (as in you made the product), you somehow landed a crazy good contract, or have a ton of money. Most IT consulting firms are either tiny or mega corps. You don't see many with say 70 employees.

Left IT after Y2K. Then, there were so few women in IT, I don't remember any. There was one... she was 400 lbs and farted extensively, to the point the managers went to her manager to dismiss her. Funny, when you think about a woman getting fired, it's for being a bitch, or habitually late, or a trouble-making gossip, or some other crap. This girl was canned for failing to control her anus.

In IT for 3-5 years now (depends on whether you count small contracts).

I've come to a disturbing realization after working in 50% or more female workplaces at every job. There is no millennial employee retention problem.

Women with seniority just put all the blame on younger men to get them fired resulting in majority of new grad millennial men only staying at a company for a year, 2 year tops. The women are all part time or gonna leave anyway, so the all female staff never question their less competent, less experienced, overcompensated female manager.

The only alternative to this I've seen is women making a workplace so toxic that all senior-management men leave (legit, this actually happened at a company I worked for).

My message to all you senior IT guys: come up with some kind of fuckin MGTOW Bro code so us younger guys can find you guys and network. Please. It is terrible dealing with hyper masculinized and blue pill men in senior roles.

I've visited the Anandtech forums for the last 18 years. Out of like the 100 thousand men that post there, there has been like 3 girls that entire time. And they end up mostly in the relationship forum.

Girls have no interest in tech. Plus these guys eat breath and sleep tech. The lowest tech guy will dance circles around even the smartest tech women. Women look like little children compared to men. Women are like infants in tech. These guys will dedicate their life to tech and learning. Constantly learning. They will stay and work 36 hours straight if something goes down and it needs to be fixed. They will work on weekends. They will create, research, devise. You will never see this in women. And the liberals want to force women on big tech companies. This is why women are going to destroy Tech companies next.

I work in IT, 10 years in the business and only one time we had a girl in the office.

She had a computer science degree and was unable to make a java mysql connection to a database.
