Backstory

Myself: Late 30s, Indian, Married, employed in the tech industry. In other words, Plain vanilla stereotypical Indian. Raised by a red-pilled father to honor my words, commitments and respect everyone.

Back in late 1990s India, US was portrayed as a meritocracy which rewards you in proportion to your talent and hardwork. Cognitive dissonance started for me during my PhD when I observed rampant affirmative action in favor of women in terms of scholarships, admissions, and opportunities in general. My application was twice denied in favor of women who had fewer and lower quality publications. When Larry Summers was ousted as Harvard's president in 2005 and I remember writing to our University officials questioning if Dr Summers' statements were really so unscientific. Received a bland templatized 'thank you for your comments' response.

Shortly thereafter my long distance GF cheated on me. I was heartbroken. My only redemption was to dump her and not reconcile even after she begged me repeatedly. Time and again, I saw smart, hardworking men of all ethnicities (black, white, indian, ...) being run over by self-entitled women (and their own harmones)

Through it all, there was a small voice telling me, 'Women are incapable of love, honor and empathy'. That voice was hushed underneath the weight of the culture, old and new. Old one narrated a thousand tales of how women sacrificed themselves for their babies, how they lit themselves afire to prevent being raped by Muslim invaders. New one which told that wymyn are every bit as capable as men. Yet everywhere I looked I saw no honor in modern women.

I began work and saw 'wymyn power' infecting corporate america. Non-technical wymyn were being promoted over more qualified men. In-demand job titles (e.g. Data Scientists) were being rewarded to female Sociology PhDs over male CS and Math PhDs. Everyday I was interviewing wymyn who couldnt answer basic questions about their PhD topics that they've spent years studying. I saw talented men leave and knew the end was imminent. This all culminated in the James Damore.

Now

After more than a decade of feeling isolated, outsider, aged, outcast, withdrawn, here is a community that understands me. Here is a community that has defined the terms that I've tried to grasp namelessly in the dark. Here is a community of people who get that the game is rigged, who have had much worse happen to them than rejected scholarship applications. After discovering /r/mgtow, this is the only sub I read.

I'm married and do not have an obvious reason (yet) to end my marriage. But things would be different for me if I'd not given in to the cultural pressure and had kept my dick in control. Despite being married, ideologically I feel closer to MGTOW than my blue-pilled friends (many of whom are self-made multi-millionnaires, yet sing the tune of diversity and gender equality).

For decades the liberal left has imagined a melting pot where folks of different cultures find a common ground. Little did they expect that feminist opression of males is where that common ground will be found.

I'll end this wall of text by saying 'Thank you MGTOW'. I feel you're onto a truth.

TL;DR: None. Just something off my chest.
