as someone who lives in NYC I'll agree this city and society in general has a dangerous relationship with the alcohol. Go to an area such as Williamsburg which is quite literally there to cater to booze and you see it firsthand. As far as being single driving people to drink that is bologna, alcohol consumption is being driven down our throats day in and day out whether it's commercials, ads, signage across the city itself, etc. Take away alcohol and I will tell you right now a lot of people in this city would be fucking lost. Millenial NY has two sets of women, those in their biological primes who can pick and choose their men and those beyond the wall whose expectations are beyond rational after all the year's spent in "posh" society. Here as a man you best just operate on the one day principal because homegirl WILL move on. They have all had a quality man in their life at some point I am sure but chose to throw it away like the jackasses they unfortunately always seem to be. I do wish the women of this city would come to their senses sometimes but alas I feel no remorse anymore for those times selectively throughout the year when I want to hook up and I wipe the tip of my dick off on chick's sheets when she goes to take her post coitus piss.

and it comes at a time when men across the board have wisened up to how bad of a deal marriage is and there's little interest. was talking to a 26 year old little bitty and she was yapping about how i'd have to be on a pathway to marriage within 6 months. i told her "i will never get married, ever, and no man in his right mind should ever consider marriage." her jaw just fucking dropped.
