When MGTOW support men in cases simply because they men, it makes us look like feminists. The Taylor Swift thing for eg. False rape claims is a big problem and men do go to jail for it but saying every kind of sexual assault is a false claim makes us look like childish women haters.

So is "Going Their/Your/My Own way" preferable to you? I personally wouldn't let that bother you too much, then again maybe its because I'm used to hearing it that way.

Well to be honest, you'll get cringe in general nearly everywhere, even outside of MGTOW. We just learn to tune out the would-be racists, nationalists, purists, elitist etc.

Saying "Em gee tee oh double-you" is one syllable longer than just saying "Men going their own way", and that has the advantage of avoiding the question of "What is mgtow?"

Mig tow is 2 syllables. Easy and efficient, which is the entire point of abbreviation.

long time ago, i used to read MGTOW as mgtaauw..

shortly after it became mgtow, where the "w" is pronounced, subtly..

now it's just mgtoe..

which one makes you cringe, which one do you prefer, and why..

just curious.. given, i used to have an opinion, on this..
