I too think that it's downright disgusting for that woman to just claim that this man was selfish. Who really knows what kind of pain he was going through? No one should be allowed to judge a person for committing suicide. It's their own business and to assume that it was out of selfishness is just sickening. It makes me want to knock that bitch out.

I also agree with you in that anyone who wants to commit suicide should have the right to go peacefully. No one should have to do it in a way that will cause them great pain, especially if they somehow survive it. It should just be a quick end to it all.

You know, suicide victims are about the best subjects on which to project one's own failings. Because it isn't like the suicide victim can defend himself from the accusations.

Hence, why suicide bombers are "cowards" and suicide lovers are "selfish"; why suicide husbands aren't "real men" and why suicide congregants are "damned." It isn't the suicide victim who is necessarily any of these things; they describe the nature of the accuser rather than the victim so accused.

Every example that op lists is selfish. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that being selfish is wrong. But, to get triggered by someone stating that their opinion is that the suicide was selfish and then to rant with a list of selfish potential reasons is silly. Learn to reason.
