Why the fuck was he having drinks with her in the first place? My sympathy meter is getting pretty close to 0 for these guys. How many stories have come out about allegations of "abuse" when a man and woman discuss "business" over drinks, or in a hotel room? The way to avoid these headaches is discuss business in an office conference room, with all doors open and ideally with several other people in the room.
