What an incredible experience this was. It's quite remote and you'll find yourself driving about five hours along a windy mountain road with a speed limit of mostly 25-35 mph. Regardless, well worth the detour if you're in southern New Mexico.

New Mexico is the coolest place! They have these adobes built on top of a flat mountain in the middle of the desert. You could see an invading army coming for miles. The Indians on the reservation still live up there. All their huts are air-conditioned now. lol.
