It is just our brain creating the defense mechanism and make sure that we can survive.

Society is damaged beyond repair. Society is literally now over taken by the stupids and the snow flakes. Humanity is died long ago.

There is nothing wrong with being alone and avoiding most of the things in the life.

Failure to Launch is nothing but the another society scheme to shove the more young men in to the work force and make them slaves to the corporation's.

Society sees the men as the resource only.

Without even reading the article, I'll just say this:

First outsource all the jobs. Remove the ladders of upward mobility. Then feminize the colleges. Create the biggest debt bubble in human history. Demonize the young men and finally have them watch as their fathers get divorced. Then complain when young men don't ”man up”.

What was it that Hunter S Thompson said? ”In a nation of swines, only pigs are upwardly mobile.” That's the west in a nutshell. Too late now anyway. Who wants to ”man up” to this shit anyway?

These men are not failing, they are just REFUSING to launch into a failed system that no longer benefits them. Can you really blame them?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist or brain surgeon to take a glance at society and go, "Hmm, something's not quite right here, something is fucked." Not to mention, with the expanse of the internet and online communities, the exposure to knowledge is the highest it has ever been.

Men are waking up, slowly, but waking up none the less. This is a good sign, the winds of change have begun to dance to a different future.

They would launch if the economy still existed. The data from places like workopolis say roughly 2% of applicants will get job interviews. Maybe 5 people get interviewed. This means it takes an average of 250 job applications before finding a job. Even minimum wage jobs have weird shit like blood and urine testing to make sure the employees are not smoking weed on weekends. The more insane companies take hair samples to make sure the employees are not drinking alcohol on weekends. I would be shocked if mental illness was less than 50%.

r/lostgeneration has daily articles about the crisis. Most of the crisis is in California. Wages are the same as Iowa, but houses cost millions of dollars. It causes California to have the highest poverty rate in the union.

And the young adult’s entitlement fuels the expectation that their parents should continue to finance their stalled lifestyle until “adulting” becomes more appealing and necessary.

So to summarize, the entire article posits that the world is a scary and fucked up place and men already suffer inside without expressing it outwards, but then the article decides the only way to get the slaves back to working on the plantation again is to whip them harder and take away the videogames so that they have nothing to distract them from their suffering and productivity.

Whereas if this article was written about women, the only point it would be trying to make is that parents need to hug them and love them more and make them feel special.

Many people see me as a "Failure to Launch" because I didn't go to college. It's just not true anymore & it's probably the opposite. If you're not STEM, you've got no fucking business in college. Especially if the trade off is debt slavery.
