Yikes! That Dead Bedroom sub has 50,000 subscribers, and it really is a window into the American marriage scene.

I'm a lifelong bachelor because marriage and children always seemed like a trap and a recipe for misery to me. I started seeing things that way from my late-teens on. Life experience and watching pretty much everyone I've ever known fall into the wasteland of marriage has only solidified my views on the toxic desert of marriage and children.

I have four brothers, all married in their 50s-60s, and all their marriages have been Dead Bedroom for decades. I don't blame their wives entirely. It's the modern American institution of marriage and family that is completely broken. Everyone marrying and having children for all the wrong reasons.

This, as they say, is HUUUUGE! Everyone knows it, but few will talk about it.

If there's a subReddit for parents who have grown to dislike or even despise their own children, that would REALLY open people's eyes. It's ugly out there.

I wonder how much of this is men whose wives have turned into ham planets while their male sex drive has declined. And a woman that has become a land whale isn't going to be as comfortable with intimacy. It's of her own doing, and it's likely that if she lost weight the monkey branching would start, but that doesn't enter her mind.
I'm not defending marriage, but it's more complicated than marriage=dead bedroom.

I was lurking the deadbedroom subreddit years ago before I pulled the trigger on my second divorce...

...because I was living it. Inside of a year of marriage to wife number 2 and she is tired of me slipping her the dick.

If a woman, especially your wife, sleeps next to you, in your bed, in your place and has plenty of time for friends, family, facebook, foolery, and no time for you and getting fucked?

She wants all your time and energy for everything that's stupid as shit, meaningless socializing, vapid nonsense that does nothing to build you up or contributes to your relationship or your future.

Amazingly though...she couldn't get enough it of when she was a girlfriend, she tolerated it when she was a fiancee, (she claimed she was scared and nervous that we wouldnt marry, and that this would pass when we wedded, just one more lie atop a pile of other lies) but the bedroom died not long after we married.

A little over a year and it was over and done. She triggered the end, she used violence against me, but of course, wouldn't you know, it's still my fault.

I just ceased to give a shit and I have no more fucks to give anymore.

Don't get married.

Nothing......and I mean absolutely NOTHING is as good a walking digital advertisement for MGTOW as that sub. It was shortly after I read Rollo's "Saving The Best" post that I found that sub and was like DAYUM..........this is what marriage is all about.......FUCK THAT SHIT!!!!! No way in hell ever!

Then, shortly after that realization, I found this sub right along with mgtowhq.com and realized that I wasn't living in an alternate universe......that there wasn't some magical unicorn beauty out there who would instantly fawn all over the amazing wonderful person that I am. No.......there were snakes in the fucking garden......hand picked heretics created by God Himself and beholden to the serpent telling them "go for Chad......this guy and his wallet will be around after you've had your fun."

Nope............I noped tha fuck out after 2015 when I realized the "best" one that could ever happen to me was still the WORST thing that could ever happen to me. There are only a few things worse than death.......and the typical Ameriskank is one of those things. Stay away......stay very far away. nail yourself to a piece of wood if you have to to stay away. Just stay away!!!

Going there to see what marriage is like is like going to weight watchers to see how much adults weigh. You are going to the worse examples and that is not a representative sample. I am not trying to argue that it is pure bliss either, but it is important to have a realistic view on things and not just things that fit our ideas.
