Here are a few insights from living TRP philosophy over the last two years.

The laws of the universe are always consistent. If you lose, it's because you didn't earn the win, even if cheating was involved. There are games on and off the field. It doesn't matter if you win one if you lose the other. Losing is losing. The Patriots may have "cheated" in getting their championship rings, but in the end, what happened?

They got their championship rings.

History is full of examples of men playing by their own set of rules and coming out victorious. Instead of playing the other guy's game, they played their own. And if you play your own game, you have the advantage of being the creator of it.

You always have homefield advantage.

If your girlfriend fucks Chad, then he was the better man, to inspire your woman to betray you. There are other fish in the sea. You move on, not angry, but stoic with humility, because he won, fair and square. There are no gods to bribe for favor, and if there were, you should have had more money than the other guy.

If you want to fight him, then do it. But not because you are emotional. Do it to uphold you honor. Or laugh and tell him "gg" and make an unlikely ally for future conquests.

This is your choice to make. But the truth of the matter is, in this particular game of banging your girlfriend, he won. You weren't man enough to keep her loyal, discerning enough to choose the right woman, or careful enough to keep her out of that situation in the first place.

These are all different games with different sets of rules. If you lose, you played the game wrong or you were playing the wrong game. You need wisdom to figure out which one of these is true. Losers like to decry the whole game when they lose because it makes them feel better.

But whether or not you want to believe it, the best man always wins. If you fail, figure out what went wrong, and make the changes you need to make.
