I learned this lesson before it ever happened to me. When I dated, I purposely would confirm same day if we were meeting up. If she didn't get back to me, I didn't go. If she said yes I'd show up early with a book (I usually just did coffee) just incase she was a cunt enough to lie. Only once did I get flaked on, on the plus side I read a good stephen king novel and enjoyed a quiet evening with coffee.
