Don't worry KupKeeeke! Wait a couple of years and and somebody in congress or senate will turn the screw on highest command to get one marvelous snowfake to pass the test anyway. Simple numbers. Very few men could ever qualify to meet the physical standards. Of those, a select few can meet the mental stresses associated with such work. That being said, of those that could,a small number of the population remotely consider,let alone attempt such feats. Why is it any surprise to any one, supporter or not, that the single cherry picked "volunteer" did not make it? Because, the above statement is not to be recognized and therefore not relevant to the public discussion.

if we have a 50% female force, would we be inclined to go to war and send thousands of troops -- half of which are women -- to their deaths

would the gov't institute a draft if it were forced to draft a woman for every man?
