Summary : people's emotions or opinions cloud their perception of reality. As a result they are unable to learn new techniques or methods. The phrase Principles before personality means you attempt to disengage your belief system from the situation so things can be analysed properly.

Jesus, Hitler, Marx, Mao, Stalin, Trump, Putin and Reagan all have one thing in common, they generate extremely strong emotional responses in people. It is also an emotional tendency to want to vilify your enemies and lift up your heroes. Right now the big debate going on in TRP is Trump alpha or beta. A few months back it was Putin. The reality is all of the men I mentioned where alpha, they had a huge impact on the course of society and continue to do so.

Just because I use Marx as an example, does not mean I agree with all of Marx's ideals. Marx was correct in many aspects, he was one of the first men to see the stages and evolution of a society. He was also one of the first men to see there is a continuous class struggle which is closely related to economics. And most importantly he stated that change will not happen without an external pressure. This was the brilliance of Marx.

Most of TRP lives in the fantasy world that XX number of years ago in a distant time everything was wonderful. The reality is in every society including so called egalitarian societies there are alphas and betas. They just had different names. In the Soviet Union the commisars and black market racketeers ran things. 25+ years later after the fall of communism a lot of the same guys are still running things.

A while back I made a post about how Putin attempted to use a large dog to psychologically unbalance Merkell to cause her to make poor decisions. People instead of admiring his brilliance started to argue whether or not he was really alpha, did he actually manage to unbalance Merkell etc. Which side they took in the argument depended largely on their nationality and personal beliefs. If you are allowing these things to influence reality you still have a slave mentality and you can be manipulated.

They then failed to recognize the brilliance of Putin. First he managed to find out that Merkell has a fear of large dogs. This shows that Putin does a lot of research. He then thought up a scenario where he could attempt to use this fear to his advantage. Whether or not the technique actually worked is immaterial, it showed Merkell that Putin has done extensive research on her.

People are herd animals similar to sheep or cows. Sheep when facing a danger have a belief they will be safer if they huddle together. So when a wolf appears he can only kill one sheep, by huddling together in one large mass, it lowers the odds that an individual sheep will be killed. But the sheep are beta and the wolf is alpha. Why ? That is because the wolf is causing the sheep to react , if the sheep where alpha they would be the ones causing the wolf to react.

Recently I posted the rhetorical question "Which is better ? An elephant or a bacteria ?" It is human nature to believe things which are more complex are better. Elephants are much bigger and more complex then bacterias therefore they must be better. From a practical perspective, the bacteria is better. Bacteria have been around since the beginning of time, they have survived unchanged for billions of years. In the few short years that elephants have been on this planet they are becoming extinct. Our biggest threat isn't feminsism, global warming, war etc. It is bacteria, bacteria have killed more people and been directly or indirectly responsible for the collapse of civilizations then any other factor. Most of us don't see bacteria as a really threat because we can't see them, also bacteria do not trigger our emotional responses.

Swallowing the red pill isn't a one time thing. It is a continuous process. I often catch myself being emotionally manipulated. This is a natural human tendency which we all face. Once you start disconnecting from the herd, you can start to see how the herd can be manipulated for your advantage. On the bigger picture there is no such thing as good or bad, things per say just exist.

Anyway just my thoughts as I procrastinate instead of working 😊
