I mind paying for that aswell. Healthcare is a service and should be private business. I have no health insurance, it's useless. I pay my doctor's visit privately. I cancelled after I realized I pay for nothing, my insurance advertized they'd cover the treatment I got and then did not pay. Spend 235$ on the treatment, plus 1xx$ on the insurance for that month. Aka scam. Plus I save on the paper work that I have to file to get my money back. TLDR; no insurance saves time and money, since when you have an insurance policy you pay the doctor and the guys managing the insurance fund which turns out to be a net loss. (which is why every healthcare system ever is near bankrupt and underfunded, the useless bureaucrats eat into the cash supply).
Plus an insurance actually does not prevent you from getting sick. Following a healthy diet, not drinking and not smoking plus regular exercise however does. So I chose to spent my money and effort on that. The more I read medical literature I know that is the only way to prevent sickness and the more I know that the human body does not get sick if it is treated the right way. As they say: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Infracstructure is also a thing that should be funded privately. It's absolutely run by corporate interest so the people who want the roads should just build them so they can profit from trade instead of paying lobbyist to lobby politicians to make everyone else pay for the roads.
They build a new highway near my hometown, its privately financed because the state is bankrupt. Lol, so why pretend government is doing anything to begin with. It's already privately funded. The owner now owns the roads and the rights to all tarrifts from trucks for the next 50 years.

The greatest triumph of the current paradigm was "empowering" women to enter the work force. Once the government essentially doubled its tax base, it grew. Then new types of industries and older ones (healthcare) expanded because they were subsidized make work projects - suprise suprise 90% of women didnt want to get their hands dirty with jobs that actually moved the needle of civilization forward. I've always had a healthy mistrust for what I was taught. I could never trust my family, especially my mom, to show me how to live. I had to figure it out on my own. That translated over to school and life in general. I did what I had to do to graduate school, but I never believed the narrative.
Me too. I tried to skip as much as possible, never homeworked and only participated if it interested me. Got like the worst grades possible like 3.3 which is a 2.4ish in American grades.
Still getting a PhD now.
Lesson: fuck school it's useless.
