If it's a good job, I would say, focus on your work and ignore the noise. Some men work in coal mines, some work where they get shot at by the Taliban. You have to deal with unpleasant people. It could be worse. If you have a better job opportunity, take it, but also see the big picture.

Take it from someone who has worked in education for a long time. Worked my way up the ladder, had many female bosses.

It's more or less the same game if it's a man or a woman. Kiss ass. Do an outstanding job. DO stand up for yourself and don't be a doormat when you are 100% certain of something that is incorrect.
Record everything, write stuff down. Note how your superiors will act in meetings when you're literally responding and writing down what they said for a later date. The greatest perverse pleasure is pointing out they were wrong a few months down the track and reminding them you said back then such and such is not a good idea.
Pick your battles, play the social game, be friendly and cooperative with colleagues even if it's something you don't enjoy doing treat it as a chore. Something you have to do to get ahead. However if feel you're being unfairly targeted? Call them out on their bullsh*t OR be like them and dob them in to your superior. "So and so said this about me? Well would you like to know she spends x amount of hours a day sitting on fbook whilst I'm doing my project work you gave me?" etc. If they doing it to you, do it back to them. Get that respect.
Should you really not enjoy your work place leave it. If what you do is something you enjoy climb that ladder then you can start shoveling the shit back on them at a later date.

I'm now a co-owner and boss of a private English school in China. These days I don't take sh*t from women and I call them out on their illogical bullshit. The record/write down everything they said in meetings is the ultimate weapon to use against them. Logic, lack of emotion wins the day and when you point out so clearly what they said when, what they did wrong when they have no ammo to retort.

I don't hate women, some of them are good staff members but they are definitely much harder to work with than men. Good luck.
