That is pretty much the situation for gals who wear revealing outfits and then complain that creepy (i.e., men they are not attracted to) dudes look at them.

I have been to the last 3 blizzcons, and there are ALWAYS girls there dressed as Succubi, in essentially a tiny bikini with crappy wings and horns.

As my wife puts it, they are "grenade fishing for attention"

You don't get to walk around a huge convention center filled with people in a cosplay outfit that shows as much skin as a bikini and complain about all the "creepers" starting at you.

Being physically harassed and being stared at while wearing revealing costumes aren't the same thing. The complaints of staring are a form of bragging. It's kind of a "look how desirable I am" kind of thing.

This is why so many people admit to faking post on /r/creepyPMs and lie about being catcalled in the streets.

I'm seeing more hostile attitudes to anything that is not PC. Communities where it would be ok to say something, now instaban you when you say something non PC.

To me, reddit is dead. I was the first person onto iPhones when they were coming out. I was the first onto bitcoins when the whole system was created, I was the first onto Androids just before they got popular. I see where all of this is going, and I will be the first to be on reddit's replacement.

I'm not saying it never happens, but I guarantee there's more legitimate sexual harassment going on in your average Walmart then there is one of these conventions, much less someplace like a bar where people really get handsy.

Fucking girls man. Most of the guys at conventions of these kinds are what they would call "nice guys." These guys haven't had much social interaction so all they can do is stare. Now these overly entitles bitches go over there so they can show off their bodies and get some male attention to feel good about themselves, and when guys that aren't as socially proofed or as socially competent look at them, they get disgusted.
