Considering that she is a single mother and the guy apparently spent 2 years begging her to take him back, my guess would be that she laments not having access to Mr. Beta Bucks' wealth now that he has wised up and/or moved on.

Considering how desperate (under the guise of regret) she seems, Mr. Beta Bucks is probably doing quite well for himself.

I would also guess that her writing this was yet another one of her "schemes" to get him back. The odds are very high that she posted it somewhere that he would end up reading it.
