Otherwise known as the paedophile defence. We have age of consent for a reason, and that reason has nothing to do with enjoyment (or lack thereof). Kids are stupid, and we have a duty of care.
In addition certain professions have higher standards of conduct. Nobody has a gun to these paedophiles heads forcing them to work in those professions. If some adulterous slut wants to fuck barely legal teens that's something she can do without a privileged position in society to pick her prey out from. Fair enough, the US have a very different culture regarding sexual consent as I said. I know many people, among friends or my family, who happily married their boss or employee. The idea that, to you, they are all rapists or rape victims is very strange, though, and anyway, I still don't understand the logic of that picture. There are only women who abused underage teenagers, except for one.
If you don't wan't to just point out pedophiles, but all kinds of "rapists", given your very generous definition of rape, you would expect to see way more pictures and that would make your point stand out even more. Like, there would be hundreds of women pictures rather than just a few. So, why just this one ?

Um, no. You're off by a lot. There are actual positions of power. A position of power is a police officer, a teacher, a doctor, etc., not some CEO of a company or some director of a movie. Do they have a level of power? Yes, and probably a lot. But as you said, some people will just have more power. We're not talking about that though. In fact, from my definition, Harvey Weinstein had access to a lot and he had power but he wasn't actually in a "position of power". He told some chicks that if they have sex with him he'd give them a movie role and it was always their choice, if not he could deny you a movie role and he could blacklist you from the movie industry but that's not an abuse of power. I could have more "power" than someone but me denying them something if they don't have sex with me or something else, is not an abuse of power. We're ONLY talking about jobs where you have tangible power. A corrections officer doesn't have much if any power outside of his work but as soon as he puts on his uniform or talks to anyone inside the jail or their relatives, he has an obvious amount of power. A corrections office can't go up to a prisoner's wife, girlfriend, cousin or whoever and say "If you have sex with me I'll make sure to take a few years of his/her sentence". That's illegal even if they agreed. You cannot have sexual relations with certain people for certain reasons if you have certain jobs, including teachers

I don't think you're seeing the point. It's completely legal (in most countries) for adult students to date their teachers. In fact it happens frequently. Sure it's unethical, but it's really weird that this women is being charged for dating an adult. She should be fired for this, not imprisoned.

If this had been a simple matter of an older person having consensual sex against the conditions of their employment contract then they'd be fired and not arrested.
I have some exposure to females in criminal psychology and this kind of inappropriate behaviour is rife. Not every woman is controlled by her ovaries, but when one is they go all the way with it. It's always some variant of power games (of which paedophilia is a subset).
If you believe for a second that sex offenders tell the truth about their victims then you are more forgiving than I. Every one of those women has been arrested for rape, every one of them is preying on the underaged, and every one of them has more victims than we know about.
A lot of reddit has a hardon for trying to excuse paedophilia because they find teenagers (often very young ones) sexy. Tough. I'm surprised that the one women could even be charged with the 18 year old, that seems like bullshit to me as those laws go out the window (in most places) when you are the age of majority.
Definitely not right for teachers of any age to be dating their (current) students of any age, but to say an 18 year old doesn't have any agency is retarded.
