I have a friend who seems like he is going to stick to the MGTOW path, even if he doesn't know there is a name for it. He's the forward thinking artistic type who has just come to the conclusion that dating in general is too distracting. Not gonna push him or anything, just appreciating his mindset as a friend. I had a friend point me to this sub as well.

I work in anoffice full of late 20’s guys and none are married. Only a handful have gfs. I think society is just forcing guys to go mgtow whether they want to or not

When i was young (20s) i was MGTOW by circumstance (college loans, bills, no spare money for a GF). Now that i'm older (no debt, career job, savings) i'm MGTOW by choice.

A friend of mine in real life is one.

He doesn't really talk about it because it isn't a hobby. It's just a personal choice.

I was privy to his last relationship. I saw the crazy he dated. I can't blame the guy.

I met a young MGTOW at a small work gathering. I was impressed that he brought it up and knew about it. Not sure if he was living the life... but people are out there. The thing is, they usually don’t broadcast it. So the guy who isn’t bragging about female or kids. And who doesn’t have any photos at work. Could be MGTOW. Or gay and hiding it. Or just asexual or into some extreme kink.

Not the same for me. Most people I know (mainly guys, but some girls too) seem to accept the idea that marriage is something that belongs in the past, or not for them, or they'll never find the right person to marry, and seems relatively okay with the idea of living alone til you die. It's a surprise when anyone in my circle(s) of friends get into a committed relationship.

Hey man.MGTOW and red pill knowledge is more available and more guys are catching up on It. But there's also so many that haven't heard yet or they have and think it's bs from guys that can't get laid lol. I think for many men, you have to first experience the wrath of women first to choose MGTOW. A lot of people are honestly sick of their shit, but they genuinely believe that there is someone out there for them (obvious social lie). But the problem is, BP men will settle. It takes a strong man to go his own way- to do his own thing and to understand the truth behind freedom. People like cradle to grave security- MGTOW is rejecting this notion and standing on your own without the safety net.

never talk about fight club. maybe me and you have met, maybe we had a nice conversation at the bus stop. who knows. i don't publicize my beliefs except for here. one thing is for sure the # of mgtow are growing. i am a prime example. i'm a SMV of about 6 or 7. any other time in history i'd be a good catch. not anymore. i'm only 6ft tall and only moderately wealthy. to a modern woman i'm basically a 2/10 when you factor in i'm bald. i almost fell for marriage a few times but mgtow philosophy aided by free 4k porno really saved my life. i'm very lucky to have lived in these times. for sure living 50 years ago, i would've wed out of college and been trapped like a fucking mule.
