I have a close group of friends since middle school, we are all early-mid 20s now. I've never mentioned MGTOW to them or even red pill stuff but two of them seem to be catching on.

One of my friends, arguably the most academically gifted and scholarly out of all of us, has gotten engaged to a woman he's been dating for 3 years while working in the same position. (red flag anyone?)

I would have thought that this guy would have not fallen for the brainwashing but I can't even really say anything to him now. Last time I saw him and his fiance she must have put on 15 pounds in a few months. Two of my other friends are still really blue pilled and want to make this some big extravaganza, even the bachelor party (though none of us drinks heavily, no interest in getting a stripper.)

It just seems like a waste of money for me. I don't have spare cash lying around, still working on getting my act back together after some financial struggles.

So it just really pissed me off when I get a group text from my friends best man (someone that he works with and I've never met) and he's asking my friends how much money we are each able to spend on a bachelor party?

Am I the ass? My engaged friend studied and works in math, I kind of want to ask him how he plans on beating the divorce statistics. It really just blows my mind that this guy who I thought was extremely intelligent in math and other sciences would get blue pilled so fucking hard.
