Christianity is a free will religion, which is why it's somewhat tolerable. Islam is deterministic. Everything is the will of god, and you're Muslim whether you like it or not. That's why they'll never be an open and free belief until it goes through a Protestant style movement against the dictates of the current powers.

Islam is not secular, which means there is no such thing as separation of church and state in Islam.

Too many individual freedoms will be lost as private and public life will be merged and regulated as one under an all-encompassing barbarous religious state that forces conformity amongst the masses of its lower ranks.

In muslim countries, there are many special religious police departments whose sole role is to peek into different aspects of your private life.

Want to eat pork? Want to drink alcohol? Smoke weed? Want to watch porn or hire an escort?

Don't want to go to a mosque and pray 5 times a day, from the early hours of the morning up till late evening?

Don't want to participate in the month long fast every year?

Its punishment and corrective 'religious adjustment camps' for you, with cruel and unusually barbaric treatments that can lead to permanent scarring, crippling, loss of limbs or even death if you resist.

Corruption is especially endemic in Muslim countries, leading to 2-rule system - one rule for the masses and another for the rich and powerful. Thus it may not be so bad if you are rich.

The rich and powerful get a free pass behind closed palace doors and throw wild naked orgies with girls imported from every country, where they take drugs, eat pork, drink champagne, ignore prayer times and laugh at how bad the masses have it.

Maybe you were hoping to escape the gynocracy of the west; if that's the case, then sorry to burst your bubble - the roots of 3rd wave Feminism have grown deep and are starting to bear fruit in many Muslim countries, and even in Saudi Arabia, Islamic Feminist activism is becoming increasingly prevalent.

It won't take long before they have the same problems as the west, except you will have less freedoms to go with it.

simple, because it would solve none of the problems we have now and it would bring a lot of problems of its own.

People in the west have a very "warped" view on Islam. Before Terror, it was romanticized as an "exotic 1001 Nights" Religion. After Terror, it was only known as the "72 Virgins Suicide Bomber" Religion. Its all and none of that actually.

Just like Christianity (who has even stricter rules then Islam if applied "by the book"), its what people make out of it.

Think about the days, where in the name of Christianity, people were "absolved" from their sins for money, people were sent to other countries to kill as many "heretics" as they could etc.

People say "these were the dark ages, Christianity has evolved and is a nice and peaceful religion today". Sure, as long as your Nation stays strong and wealthy. Thrust me, if the western civilization falls for whatever reason, you will see the "Dark Ages" reemerge as if they were never gone.

You dont change something for the exact same thing. Makes no sense.
