The first thing you can do is start your own business. It's very easy to do this just make sure you find the best tax attorney in your area. Preferably someone who has worked at the IRS.

A portion of your automobile and insurance and many other things can be written off. Another thing you can do is if you want to work 9 months a year you can always lay yourself off and collect unemployment for 3 months and take a nice little vacation every year. If you're living a semi minimalist life this should be easy. And once you decide to retire or stop owning your own business 6 months prior simply lay yourself off and you can collect unemployment and get some of those fees and taxes back period I know an accountant that advised me to do that when I own my own marketing company and it is his strategy once he decides to retire.

What you can be doing in the meantime is talking to other people in your trade that own their own business and get advice from them.

You can obviously still work under the table on side jobs.

You will be working in the trade that is highly sought-after and allows you a lot of flexibility.

When you can, buy a condo or house instead of living in an apartment, you get a really big tax credit for owning property so you'll get a big chunk of the money back you would typically fork over to the govt. Also, when possible invest your money wisely instead of letting it molder in a bank account. Banks don't pay interest any more so you have to make your own. If you've got the hairy nuts for it you might even consider cryptocurrency.

Figure out your taxes, and just think of your net income as your money. You'll never see those taxes you paid back anyway.

If you do qualify for any social programs, take them. It's the only way to take pack anything from the system, might as well abuse it; everyone else does.

Obviously keep some amount of personal savings.

But the main thing is to liquidate your earnings into appreciating investments. Shares and Housing are you major long term investments and eventually (assuming the economy of the west doesn't implode) they can become significant sources of passive income. As the currency supply increases, your money will be overall worth less so it's better to spend it on investments now rather then latter.

Invest and diversify your portfolio, buy low and sell high and don't be afraid to take calculated risks. It's gambling but unlike modern depreciating assets; (technology/cars etc.) your far more likely to get good returns on your investments.

Step 1. Learn your trade. Work for someone else for 10 years. Save your money.

Step 2. At this point you should have mastery skills and some contacts. Start your own business. It is easy af to short change the government when you don't get paid W-2 wages.

Step 3. Don't finance stuff except maybe a modest house. Don't give your life's energy to the banks.

Step 4. Don't buy flashy stuff. You'll pay a lot of taxes on a big fancy house or brand new car.

Step 5. Invest your money. I like index funds and Dow DIA. The 30 companies more powerful than the government.

Step 6. Live in a place with modest cost of living and a state government that is not going bankrupt. Aka pretty much any "red state".

Step 7. Avoid women . If you must then hire a pro ideally Nevada or another country because you don't want to find yourself on the sex offender registry.

Step 8. Your friends will pair off with women and disappear. Replace them. Know they will be back when their relationship ends.

Step 9. If you really want children, get a surrogate mom. It is far cheaper and less stressful.

Step 10. Always be improving. Take care of your health. Learn stuff. Don't give a fuck what others think. Be yourself. Be content. Live in the present, not the past or future.
