I can't find the other post I said this on but I remember an article being posted on here (or maybe it was TRP) about some guy who spent like 3 years in jail because he was falsely accused of raping some girl.

The reason this girl accused him of rape is that her (very strict) mother found out she was having sex (or watching porn or something) and she accused a guy she knew recently moved far away and thought it would be the end of badgering from her mother. The mother didn't drop it and this girl, throughout an entire rape trial, didn't once confess that she lied and it took 3 years for her to confess.

Even after all of that, she was sentenced to weekend house-arrest and stated something along the lines of "even though he was in a physical prison, I've been in a prison in my mind" which is total BS obviously.

Anyway, the whole point of this is that this girl was a whale and I can't understand how a defense lawyer can't just say something like "Your honor, look at this fat whale. Do you think ANY guy would force himself onto that? Do you think she would deny whatever guy she could get?"

Case closed.
