Feminists do not give a fuck about men and their problems. Hell, even in the context of this interview, the film that actually discusses problems of men was fucking banned by feminists. Cassie Jaye was a feminist who realized that and even though she still believes in the issues women face, she disassociates with the term feminist because the majority of feminists, and/or the leaders of the feminist movement, are about blaming men and demonizing men, not looking at their issues with honest concern. The whole feminism is good for men to because it's about gender equality angle is such hot smelly bullshit.

Very poor preparation on the part of the male interviewer. He clearly wanted it to be a hit piece, but he didn't have his facts straight.

And it's amazing to me... first, they talk about freedom of speech and how it's wrong that the film was banned in Oz. But in the very next breath, he uses the film's unavailability to defend his inability to make an intelligent criticism. What was the fucking point of the interview? "I didn't see the film, but I hated it."

As an Australian, I am fucking ashamed of how our media has treated Cassie this week during her tour of Australia. It's abundantly clear none of them have watched the movie, every interview I've seen they've immediately attacked her, interrupted her and made wild accusations about what she stands for.

Not one interview I've seen/heard so far has just had a conversation with her, allowed her to get her point across and approached her in a civil and non-demeaning manner. Absolutely fucking disgraceful.

They wouldn't dare treat a feminist like that.

Not one of them would have the balls to quote some real stats direct from the Australian Bureau of Statistics which would discredit any feminist argument live on air.

His interrogation of Cassie Jaye would have been described as misogynstic if he were taking a stance in favor of men's rights and she were defending feminism.

As Cassie Jaye correctly said, feminism is an ideology.

Feminism seeks power for a certain, limited group of women at the expense of all men and other women.

The two hosts are simply partisans in the fight for feminism. The fact that he is a man just makes him a feminist beta orbiter/white knight.
