Because the more sexual choices a man has, the less control women can exert over him. That's why prostitution is illegal btw while they're trying to ban even the rubber dolls (equality anyone?). And since the ultimate goal of ALL women is to control and dominate men to serve as the bonded servants to the individual females as well as to the female collective as a whole, that is unacceptable. The phrase they're using now to describe such situations and why they're against it is this vague "It might hurt women." That's because they have no reasonable counterarguments against it and their real agenda must hidden from men at all costs for the obvious reasons. P.S. If it were not for the STDs, women would try to outlaw the condoms as well, no doubt about it.

Considering that if they don't want to get pregnant they can just take contraceptives themselves, I would have to think it's about them not getting pregnant when they want to. Can't lie about getting pregnant anymore, can't get knocked up with someone else's kid and blame you, can't accidentally get pregnant, what's not to like?

It takes the power away from their one and only trump card. "Men will forget to take their pills", you mean just like every woman who's trapped a man by "forgetting" to take hers? Trust me, if a man truly doesn't want kids, those pills will be his top priority when he wakes up.

Women have at least 5 methods of birth control, men currently have one. Yet it's still my responsibility to make sure we have protected sex? And then when men get a new method of protection it's suddenly a problem? GTFO.

If she tells you you are the father do you trust her to be telling the truth or do you want a paternity test? I don't think it is unreasonable for her to doubt you when you say you're taking the male birth control pill. Parenting is too significant of an issue to take a stranger's word for it.

This takes away a big aspect of controll for women . Think about it if you are not on male birth control and the condom breaks or she says she is taking birth control and lies this all goes in her favor but if your on birth control she literally can't trick you she can't take a turkey baster and suck up the sperm to impregnate herself .. in other words you have control on the outcome of your life / relationship and it is no longer at the women's sole discretion when and how she becomes pregnant.

I suspect there are forces in opposition to the male birth control pill that are much more powerful than Women - "the government" in general, and globalists in particular.

If effortless long-term male sterilization from the "man pill" becomes reality, Western birth rates are going to crater to unimaginably low levels - far exceeding the existing collapse resulting from "you can have it all" Go-Girl Feminism, and the female birth control pill.

That will annihilate the tax base for generations. The debt-based global economy is entirely dependent upon future generations of workers to justify the overspending of today - if those people don't exist, those debts cannot be repaid (US Social Security and Medicare, for example) and, frankly, the global economy will collapse.

Simple: they want a man to get them pregnant. They can get child support, tax breaks Section 8 housing, and victim-status. It's the perfect plan, and they don't want the gravy train to end. Women want resources, and if you give men greater control over their reproductive abilities, the plan gets derailed.
