Dying without a son is probably troublesome to you , because we feel our primal instinct to procreate. However all things that have a beginning have an end, mankind will eventually perish it's a futile struggle in the end.

No. For the very simple reason that I'll be dead. WTF do I care whether or not I have a kid. I'm not going to know about it because I'll be dead.

I've never understood these kind of hypothetical questions. You can't regret something once you're dead. Ceasing to exist kinda puts the kabash on the whole worrying about doing something before you die thing. I'm not going to care that I never went sky diving or got head from Zoe Saldana or had a kid. Death bed regret is stupid.
