That was a truly great post. I like how it touched on how Nice Guys are the male analogue of sluts in that they give out emotional investment and a relationship (something women want) too cheaply.

Paraphrasing a user's story I read here recently:

Two women are sitting at a table discussing slutty behaviour and one girl asks "how long should I wait before having sex with a guy?" before her friend can answer, our RP user interrupts the conversation and says "The question you should be asking is - why should he stay after he's had sex?"

Great post, but here is the definition of a slut:

Slut: A slovenly or promiscuous woman.

Here is the definition of promiscuous:

Promiscuous: (of a person) Having many sexual relationships, esp. transient ones.

Here is the definition of transient:

Transient: Lasting only for a short time; impermanent.

Here is the clarified definition of slut:

Slut: A woman who has many sexual relationships, especially those that are impermanent and last only for a short time.

Like it or not, that's the definition.

I posit that a slut is a woman that shoots above her league. She can get sex with higher SMV men but not a relationship.

It's the same for men. They can get friendzoned and be orbiters to higher SMV women but they cannot get sex.

I tend to find it very interesting when people can break down human behaviors to economics.

A slut is a woman whose sexual market value consists mostly of sexual availability, and little else. --> A slut is a woman who does not have the ability to turn sexual encounters into relationships.

OP does a great job translating the sexual market "economics" part into a concrete and clear thought here.

Also thought the distinction between high partner count being a symptom of sluttiness and not the cause is right on. You can only find a solution to a problem once you identify the underlying cause. After all, we're all here to find more efficient sexual strategies...

The onus of value shifts from the male to the female after sex. While the post is great a lot of it is just pointless padding, especially the introduction, the last section is all anyone really needed to say.

Regardless this idea should be sidebar material, if it isn't already and I've just missed it.

I can't find fault with what she says.

She is right about one thing, don't complain about sluts when you sleep with everyone woman you can see, thereby creating sluts.

It's a good post, but honestly nothing really new. It has been discussed before and I would think that most guys here already know this.
