Apologies for the formatting and grammatical errors. This was written on my phone.

I don't often pay much attention to what people are discussing around me, but on my daily commute this morning I happen to overhear a couple in their mid 30s talking about their interstate trip.

W: "when we get to (destination), Carla is going to pick us up from the airport....we will drop you off at the hotel as Carla and a few of her friends are going to show me around town"

M: "why can't I come with you? It's my first time there as well you know?"

W: "Oh, it's just going to be a girly thing, shopping etc. You can organise dinner and book some things to do on the Sunday"

M:" but this is supposed to be our trip together, I'd like to go with you... Can we talk about it tonight? “

W:"Yeah sure, by honey "

It was at this point that the guy got off train at his stop, the woman then got on the phone to Carla and it what I heard was this:

W:" hey Carla, how are you sweets? Yeah all good.... He wants to come but I haven't seen Michael in years... I want to know if he still has it for me.... Yeah I know. Rob's a great guy, and I enjoy our lifestyle but Michael is so hot and was way better, if you know what I mean (giggle giggle). Did you know he is an investment banker? He earns triple what Rob does. I just don't want to ruin things with Rob if there is nothing there with Michael.. Ok...talk soon. Bye sweets"
