It's simple. A rape trial is, no matter what, highly emotionally charged thing. In some places there are laws that protect the victim's name from being published. Make the same true for the accused and until after a conviction. This doesn't impair justice and takes away the ability to blackmail someone or vandalize their future with a false claim.

As cynical as it sounds, you can't unrape a woman, so it doesn't take higher priority than saving someone else's life from destruction.
