Hey man,I understand you on binge eating.I don't know how your body is now,but if you want to lose weight,put on some muscles is only a benefit. If you are able to going on bike,I suppose that you are able to lift. You can start from the basic,like stronglift for beginners. Lifting (or doing a sport seriously) give you discipline and motivation to not eating crap and build your muscles and many compuond benefits. And don't buy ice-cream. Just try the simple stronglift program for 6 weeks and come back here to tell us how do you feel.

Putting off lifting is in order to concentrate on cutting is kind of understandable (I'm sure I'm not the only TRP convert who did that), but totally effing retarded if you don't have the discipline to stck with it.

Start lifting, stop eating ice cream, and if you have to cheat stuff your face with protein rather than crappy high calorie confectionaries.

Recently I've been trying to lose weight. I'm not putting my efforts into lifting yet because when I look in the mirror, I don't see someone who's main priority is lifting. In that sense, losing weight is the main way that I'm developing as a person.

Stopped reading right here. There is a reason we say lifting should be your #1 priority. If nothing else, lift. Losing weight is fine but if you lose weight and have no muscle underneath that weight you will look like shit.

As long as you have more fat than muscle, you are skinny fat. Yes, a 6 foot tall 120 pound twig is skinny fat. Barely any fat, but even less muscle.
