I couldn't disagree more.

Having seen dozens of genuinely good men(myself included) throughout my life be completely destroyed by the women they loved for absolutely no good reason, I want to see men walk away en masse. I want to see MGTOW go mainstream!

Not because I want to see women crawling back, I want to watch them suffer, I want to see them wallow in the sewer that they created for themselves!

This, so much this. I don't know what it is, but lately it feels like this sub doesn't bring anything new to me. Only red pill ragers here and people who want to change society. May be we should introduce flair system here so that we can filter out this type of threads for ourselves leaving only meaningful ones.

This is MGTOW's greatest strength. It is a life philosophy that does not extend beyond the self. It doesn't seek to change the status quo, or raise "awareness" about anything. To oppose it would be like opposing a vegetarian's choice to not eat meat.

This is primarily why MGTOW scares women; Why they hate it when they see men encouraging other men to avoid marriage or any serious commitment to women, and why their only counter-argument always ends up being emotional rhetoric (i.e. "But won't you be lonely?! Aren't you afraid of dying alone?! Don't you want somebody to share your life with?!"). They recognize the implications of MGTOW, but have no legitimate means of fighting against it without essentially admitting that they believe they are entitled to men.

I have no doubt that sooner or later they will lose their sense of shame and start admitting exactly that, but all it will do is make more men aware of their thankless, servile positions, and encourage them to go their own way as well.

Ugly times ahead for society as a whole, but as Atlas shrugs, individually men will get to experience a golden age of epicureanism.

Futile is correct. TFM called it when he said (paraphrased) that people are only nice when they need to be nice. Forget about men and women. Let's talk about people. A friend in need is a friend indeed. If signing a legal contract means that needy friend never needs to be nice again but they still get unlimited help for any future problem, why would they ever be nice? It doesn't matter what the numbers are. There could be 10 women for every 1 man, and absolutely nothing will change as long as marriage laws are in their current state. If signing a legal contract means they no longer need to be nice, that's exactly what will happen - they stop being nice.

Naturally, men see the pattern and stop getting married. The law also sees the pattern and changes to become even more tyrannical. Did you live with a single mother for one week in 2010? We retroactively changed the law so you are now the legal father of that child, and you owe $100,000 in back child support even though you never dated or slept with that woman before.

The only way to win is to walk away. Don't be a jerk to women, don't trash talk women, don't joke about women, don't get on a soap box and say how great MGTOW is. Simply disappear from the dating scene. Guys like Milo try to take a stand and defend what is morally right, and look what happens. After admitting to being a victim of sexual abuse, he has been fired from his job, and his book deal has been cancelled. That's what happens when you stand to fight against evil - you will be destroyed by that evil.

I'm Jewish, so I feel obligated to add the Jewish angle. In USSR and Germany, what do you think happened to Jews who protested the gulags and concentration camps? They were all shot. Every single one of them who spoke out was killed. My family said nothing. They fled from USSR to Germany in the 1920s, and then they fled from Germany to North America in the 1930s. I'm alive because the people before me were smart enough to shut up and run away. The people who feel this is cowardly behavior are more than welcome to stand up and be cut down.

Exactly. And people with the kind of mentality you are describing in OP are exactly the kind who will go back to the plantation on first blow job.

Put simply, MGTOW is concerned with informing men of their nature as well as female nature. This is something that Stardusk said in one of his earlier videos and I agree with it.

I partially agree with the original poster. First of all, MGTOW has to be the right decision for the guy's own life, or it won't work. People can talk about it, but it shouldn't be pressured on anyone. Some people have to learn through their own experiences, and, even though I quite dating, I'm glad I at least had the dating and serious relationship experiences that I had, just as experiences. (Maybe I would have a different view if I had been through a really bad divorce though.) If someone claims they are in a happy marriage, it's not my business to question that.

MGTOW is still a pretty non-mainstream idea, so it's got to be right for the person.

I can see it spreading, because I think it makes sense for a lot of guys. However, if anyone is somehow thinking this would make women start chasing men, I doubt that. I think one of the issues is that a lot of women just aren't attracted to a lot of the men. That's not going to change just because those "invisible men" drop out.

I think it's more realistic that the spread of MGTOW would draw media attention to why men gave up -- this is something that would be interesting to see, and possibly realistic that could happen. It's always kind of this big con that the dating world is this wonderful thing for everyone, then a whole bunch of the guys gets continuously ignored and/or rejected. That's pretty cruel, yet rarely acknowledged except for places like this group. Society should at least be honest about the way things are.

MGTOW is about adapting to a post-feminist world as a man.

And yes, going your own way shouldn't be concerning other people, nor if any impact MGTOW has on people and society in general.
