Don’t go to the Suicide Forest. It’s near Mt Fuji and it’s five lakes. Plenty of working men killed themselves there, their cars rusting away on the asphalt.

It’s the same place that Logan Paul got hammered for joking about. Just don’t go.

As for shipping goods I’d say you’re better off using styrofoam bits and heavy duty cardboard boxes.

Pack the individual parts and just buy a new case once you’re there, much cheaper and easier.

Since your shipping is free for the computer, you could double box it with a layer of foam, newspaper, or peanuts between the boxes.

Open the case and double check that all screws holding components are really tight

If you have a complex install like dual boot, lots of games, or very critical data on your drives/SSD'.s I'd remove them and carry them separately.

put the drive/SSD's in a static free bag, wrap the bags in foam, tape them up, put them in a small box, and then into your carry on bag.

Worst case the computer is lost/damaged, you still have all your data. Send your software serial numbers and any install keys to yourself in email so they're in the cloud.

Myself being the guy who believes in multiple backups, you could also buy an external drive and run a complete image/backup of everything, and take that with your carry on too, so you have multiple ways to restore your environment, even on new hardware if that was necessary

Don't forget to take your shoes off when entering a home/temple/bath house. Its fairly obvious as there will be slippers available to use. If there are no slippers use bare feet but keep your socks on.

learn to scuba dive! Ishigaki (an island very far south in Okinawa) is beautiful! Scuba is also a very MGTOW sport. It's annoying how fast white knights swarm to women in scuba but for the most part, there are not many women doing it.

I envy. I was stationed in Italy for a while and it was really fascinating to explore ruins and museums. Japan has got to be really interesting, since it wasn't influenced by Roman culture like every other damn place on Earth.
