Realize that this is a lesson. It's better to feel this pain and grow than to not have felt it.

that's a hard feeling to overcome. i'm MgTOW for years, there is one girl i still think of. it doesn't burn to think of her fucking other guys, i have improved myself immensely and have confidence, but i realize, men are deeply capable of selfless love. i've been with girls younger, prettier and better at sex, perfect for ladder stepping but i don't, or couldnt'. i couldn't forget her, still sometimes dream about her. just someone i know i truly loved and always will.

the only way to change, like someone said, the best revenge is success. improve our finances, your body and your mind. once you become a better version of a human than she is, you won't feel that pull so much and feel happy that you have the perspective and power to do whats right for your life.

I understand you. My ex was someone I truly invested my all into and when that ended it still felt like it stung whenever she'd ride another cock. But then MGTOW shined a new light on girls and a red flag would appear with certain behaviors.

Anyway I was at a wedding and my ex was there, she didn't know anyone and decided to talk to me. Before you know it she's talking about some other guy who's angry at her because she essentially used him while she lacked any empathy (she got what she wanted and threw him to the curb...He's probably on TRP now). Red flags were screaming in my head, I could see it all now. Her use of men, her whorish tattoos, her "whatever" language, and the fact she was about to fly to Perth to live(use) some guy and do drugs with him...Honey you're trash. Meeting her was great, because in my head I made her out to be something good, when in reality I was looking at her with lovers goggles before.

Looking back all I can say is that I wish I didn't waste so much time and effort on my ex, but I guess I needed it to learn from my mistakes and grow.

Just because you don't have someone now doesn't mean she's better than you. Also you say you hurt still, so it means you are a person capable of caring deeply about someone else. Be proud of that. Just don't get so caught up with the next girl.
