becomes:
"20,000 men demonstrate why their wives didn't like them in the first place."

Not really, but I'd look for every other opportunity for me to get out with my life and my liberty, even if that meant losing everything, first. Its always possible to rebuild. Going down in a blaze of glory doesn't benefit you, it'll make her look like a martyr and you like a villain, and it'll end up being a lesson to no one.
I would burn down the house first though before it was taken. Then at least one person gets the message.

Its illegal to burn down your property one way or another if they prove you did it on purpose you will be fined and send to jail.
I agree with your train of thoughts in general but lets not forget we are talking about a person who has already decided to take his life away here. If there is an option there is always a way to find other 'solutions' for your problems one just needs to be motivated enough.

the lesson is always never ever marry.
No matter how sweet or kind or amazing she is, the entire institute of marriage is rigged against you, there is nothing noble about deliberately throwing yourself under the bus because the powers that be have strong armed you into believing you have to be a slave to them.
Avoid marriage let the system collapse, as the first casualties and those that will suffer most are those who enjoy and abuse the current system.
yeah but as far as some states are concerned in the usa you don't have to marry her you have to live with her and have relationship with her for extended period of time.

I'd settle for an ocean rated yacht.
That guy's 100k in profits plus the 128k he had in his bank account. That's around 160 ounces of Gold. Round up to 170 ounces which equals 4.81941893 Kilograms or just under 11 pounds worth of 1-ounce ingots.
This guy easily could have sailed off of just boarded a cruise or flight with gold in one of his bags. Go mine gold in Alaska or Canada for a few years with his mining skills. That's if he was unwilling to deal with South America or Africa.

Fuck this guy for being stupid enough to keep letting her spend money and not putting money into his equipment.
He gave her his credit card instead of making a payment on the one she maxed out. So she could get home and then not be able to spend anymore damn money.
The minute she was fully committed to a divorce he should have just settled on his contract, sold both houses or the vacation house, and run with the money.
I'll never understand why these guys are not smart enough to do that. Leave her with a house she can't afford just to have a taste of what he's been dealing with.
Why the hell do so many men not take a few minutes to read up on finances and marriage? So if you decide to pull that trigger at least your assets are locked up.
