I think mainly it's because men go "yup, I'm fat and it's my fault." They either do something about it, or they accept being fat as their life. It's the women making excuses and pointing fingers, not accepting responsibility.

basically women know they are unappealing as being fat/obese/whatever. Rather than take responsibility, they prefer everyone telling them they look good and telling themselves they look good. I remember as a child hearing that women have self esteem issues. Never heard that about men. Why? Because men accomplish or fail.

It's the same with these empowered women. Women are not empowered. They simply tell themselves they are. It's like a scrawny kid with no strength boasting about how strong he is. He's delusional. Women care little for facts and reason. That's what men care more about. Women care more about feeling good.

Listen to Tom Leykis when he points out why you don't date single moms. SIngle moms will call in and are never capable of providing a counter argument. This is what women do. They will boast about whatever to avoid blame and to make themselves feel good.

How many black women bash black men yet are bitter single moms with no hope for the future? They cannot figure it out. Obese women cannot explain why they cannot attain the Greek God rich man. It's always someone else's fault. It's the world that needs to change and not them.

This is basically what HAES is about. Fat unattractive women refusing to put in effort and demanding the world change to suit their views. In fact, MGTOW is an example of this. Men realize it's a shit deal and walk away. Women refuse to accept that they are the shit deal and blame and shame men. The end result? More men walk away.

Their ego is protected but they never attain the happiness they seek.

Just my 2 cents, when you've passed a certain weight (250lb or so for shorter people and about 300 for taller ones) you'll still be fucked with all the loose skin when you've lost that weight, I'm sorry but that shit is so disgusting and unappealing, even after surgery for it.

Also someone who has been obese in their life has a 3x rate of morbidity than someone who was never obese, even if they get thin again.

Edit: so my point was that sometimes (actually a lot of times) it's a lost cause and thier bodies have been permanently ruined from thier immense size

I think obesity will continue until this attitude to it is reversed. It's a really defeatist attitude and one I just can't understand. Life is a gift. There are so many people who live with complications due to diabetes and then on mess that have loads of side effects. Why not just lose weight? It really isn't difficult. Exercise should be given as a medication. It gives them a solution to their mental and physical problems and it's free.
