Do it. You'll be fine in a day or two. It was a pretty quick procedure with little pain. Then enjoy the rest of your life not giving kids to these skanks.

I had mine a few months ago. Serious discomfort for about a month. Definitely not fun , but totally worth it IMO.

had a vasectomy about 4 years ago, sore for a weekend but otherwise no aftereffects. totally normal sex life afterwards, no hormonal or other health issues. 10/10 would recommend if you're serious about becoming sterile.

First few days there is a little pain. Just wear a tight cup or 2 pairs of briefs. Keep the area iced and relax. Lay down and chill as much as possible. I was fine after 3 days, and lifting again after a week. No issues.

2-3 days, you dont want to walk around much. Feeling like bowling balls attached where your testicles used to be attached. Just sit down for a while, play video games, take time off work. I was 25 when i got mine done. Best decision i ever made.

Not had it but done lots of research, with all surgery there is risk and in he care of vasectomies there is a small chance it may reconnect so you're no longer sterile, there is also a 1-3% chance of long term 'phantom' pain that some people can get, basically a continuous dull ache that can last many years

I didn't have it. But you might wanna postpone it for a while. I heard about some health side effects, I think something with hormones, but I'm not sure. Maybe a more experienced bro will step in with some info. Anyways, before that please consider that at 29 you still have you're brain drowning in testosterone. I just got out from a long term relation (LTR), I'm 33yo this month and I simply don't wanna have sex again. After you understand how a women thinks you'll be disgusted by the idea. Maybe you still need a few relations to get it out of your system, but once you learn more and more you'll enjoy it less and less. Sex in my eyes is way overrated, I can see trough the smoke and mirrors of media brainwashing. We give them chocolates==sugar==love on Valentines and then we complain they are fat. This is just my opinion, if you see yourself pursuing sex in the long run, then go for it. Whatever health issues it might bring it doesn't compare to having the life sucked out of you for some damn' kids with a spermjaking crazy girl. But be aware of false rape accusations(just because she had a few drinks and she agreed, in her mind doesn't necessarily mean it's not rape) and you might also want to google some herpes pics on google.

Everyone will tell you it's easy and to suck it up. I'm glad I did it and would do it over again, but I had a slightly different experience. I just had mine a few months ago. The actual procedure is uncomfortable, but not painful. The doc is poking, pulling, and burning an area that you would prefer none of that to happen to, but you can't feel it other than general pressure and the occasional pinch after the anesthetic. I laid in bed for 2 days afterward and the hydrocodone was definitely needed. For about another 1.5-2 weeks, it felt like someone kicked me hard in the nuts all the time unless I was still and laying down. I was able to work, but it was pretty uncomfortable. I was able to start running/lifting again after the second week, but it made me even more sore after. Week 2 - 3 months, there are times where something feels like it gets "stuck" in there and it hurts like hell until I adjust them. That has happened less and less often though and is now pretty rare and not nearly as painful when it does happen. Things definitely still don't feel completely "normal."

Had an appointment last week and getting the surgery done in a couple of weeks. 43 with two sons from a LTR. Procedure is day surgery - was told it takes about 20 minutes, with a couple of hours monitoring till you are discharged. Cost is about $500 here in Australia, and money back or coverage depending upon your private health. Have the option of a local anesthetic , a small dose of stuff to keep you relaxed or a total knockout from the anesthetist. Getting done on a Saturday morning , couple of days to recover and should be back at work on the Tuesday. This is in Australia

Just take that day off work and you are fine.

I had it done in the morning, went back to work about noon. It hurt a bit but no big deal, main issue is groggy from being out. Its totally minor, easier than getting a crown at the dentist. I can't even tell it was done, the gf says it taste the same too.

The procedure itself wasn't that bad (they put me under for it). The recovery wasnt that bad except for when my balls swelled up and I went in to get checked out (everything was fine).

HOWEVER, after the procedure is done, they will tell you not to masturbate for 2 weeks. FOR THE LOVE GOD LISTEN TO THEM.

I've had it done, it's not terrible. Worst part is getting the local anesthetic. Think of getting your nutsack flicked pretty good. Sore for a 5 _ 7 days afterward. As in, I really preferred not to walk too much. Take a day or two off work if you can.

I had it done 30 years ago, very little pain for 2 days, still working great, no difference and no health problem/ hormones issues. Only no more worrying that the girl say that it is your kid.

Too more time to shave the area downstairs. Into the Doctors, a little snip, snip... then I was on my way.

Next couple of days of walking funny, back to good in about a week.

Had mine done in my mid 20s. Its been ten years and no long term negative effects.

Procedure was fast, nearly painless, and without complications. A little sore for about a week, but after that was back to 100%. At the time I was a laborer and I was back at work the next day. Pain was so little that I completely forgot about it and gave myself a painful jolt when I jumped down from the back of a pickup truck.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to get snipped. The number of "pregnancy scares" I've had since then are amusing... as well as shameful.

My Father had one and he was home the same day icing his balls. I Heard it's painless. A girl I almost fucked just got preggers from one of the other unknown number of men she has been fucking without my knowledge, so it's really pushing me to get one.
