I originally considered the above as a societal double standard but while discussing this with a friend of mine he said something that stopped my opinion dead in it's tracks.

"True, but surely this standard is tantamount with the idea that a woman who sleeps around is a slut where as a guy that does the same is held to a higher standard."

There's no denying men that have lots of sex are considered to be "better" than those who have little to no sex so it should go without saying that they would fall at the opposite ends of the spectrum.

Gentleman, what are your thoughts on men that choose to substitute real sex; is this a double standard or are they in fact lesser than Chad?
