it really fucking is. That's the common sentiment you see expressed to ugly people, and while it's not wrong, it's still pretty fucked up to hear that you have to be on 100 at all times just to have a shot at getting laid with someone halfway attractive, and even then the reward:effort ratio is shit when compared to someone that's truly attractive.
I think the worst part about it is the implicit assumption that anyone can cultivate the level of game/charisma/status needed to overcome their physical short comings. A lot of people are unable to do this for a myriad of reasons. For every fat/unattractive guy that has killer game, charisma, and unfounded confidence, there are 100 more that dont. Those exceptions only prove the rule, and ime, said exceptions arent doing THAT well given the amount effort they expend.

Well the good news is that women are undatable these days so men who stand no chance are no worse off in terms of attracting women for sex and intimacy. Being attractive and charismatic can certainly help one navigate life more easily, but they're not necessary once you remove mating from the equation anyway. Personally, I've found it far easier to be assertive and direct, finding confidence by having integrity, i.e. no hidden agenda. When you're a slave to women, you subconsciously are always on the lookout or trying to look good to attract them or alter your behavior or play a role. Ironically, I think people find me more likable now that I'm MGTOW because I'm not trying to make people like me any more.

There is nothing ridiculous about the missionary position. Just because most animals don't do it doesn't make it ridiculous. Most animals don't read, or post questions about sex positions on Reddit, either.
Truth is that missionary is popular for a reason. It is comfortable (for most), it is intimate being face-to-face, and the male is in a dominant position which many women respond well to. But other positions have their advantages and disadvantages.
