TRP teaches sexual strategy so you can attract women in any setting. TRP never said you can find engaging conversation with any particular woman. TRP offers nothing more than that, and all of your problems are a result of your misplaced desire for women to be something that they're not. TRP correctly explains the kinds of creatures women are...and they are definitely not here to satisfy your conversational needs...

So to say "I am bored. I am Red Pill" and "immediately disgusted by what they have to offer me. They are sex." means you are not fully getting it. If you're RP, you're not bored and you're certainly not disgusted when a woman gives you sex.

Further, It's not RP to become misogynist if women don't fall in line with your lofty expectations. Since when did TRP promise enlightening conversation when women? TRP offers sexual strategy specifically in the context of women as sexual creatures. Yet, when you use TRP on women and they react predictably by becoming sexual creatures, you now hate them? That should be your goal the entire time!

"Women suck"...why? TRP should eliminate this emotion because getting angry at women for not fulfilling your incorrect expectations is 100% blue pill. Blue pillers will try to act like the "nice guy" and then get angry and start to hate women when they don't get the sex they think they are entitled to. You're doing the same thing, except replace sex with "meaningful conversation".

[–]Travis_McGee2 points 12 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

Meaningful conversation isn't all I want. But I see what you're saying. You were right in saying my problem is misplaced desire. I want something that doesn't exist and am spiteful. It's something I'll try to work on this year.

I guess I'm also wrong in saying I'm redpill. I clearly still have a long way to go. But is it bad to ask for more than sex? (And I'd like to point out I'm happy to have sex, I just don't like when that's the only thing a girl can give). Isn't there more then just sex that makes a relationship worth it? Or is that just the blue pill crying out?

[–]16 TRP VanguardTRPsubmitter 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Personally, I don't expect anything more than sex and fun companionship from the women I meet. I never expect fulfillment or think I'm owed that. Would I turn down awesome conversation or fulfillment? Of course not!

I'm not saying that TRP excludes these; it's not like TRP is against good conversation. However, TRP knows that women rarely offer this or are even capable of it, so take it if you can get it, but do not expect it. Many men don't understand that women most often cannot offer them this, so they get frustrated, angry, lonely and bitter towards women.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Well thank you, then, for guiding me away from that path. I'll make an honest effort to improve. But man, I don't even get any "fun companionship" when I'm with girls. Being around them feels more like it's just something to do that's probably better than sleeping.

[–]16 TRP VanguardTRPsubmitter 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, you should at least be having lots of fun. This may be a case of low variance in which you are meeting a bunch of vapid women in a row.

At the end of the day, you still need to be attracted to her body/face and find her personality nice to be around. My hard line is to rule out all complainers. Positive girls who like to laugh, smile and be curious about new things will almost always make for "fun companionship"

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm not having lots of fun. I keep hoping I will, but I don't. There aren't many of those happy and positive girls here, in my experience.

[–]PinkfloydPurplefloyd 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm no lawyer but I am pretty certain that there is no law forcing you to fuck vapid college whores on pain of life imprisonment.

How can I go on? When there is only the hope of the life of a bachelor to look forward to?

You find a hobby. Bedding college whores is but one hobby out of millions, and other hobbies are (unsurprisingly) probably better for your mental health.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I have plenty of hobbies. My problem is that the hobbies aren't nearly as satisfying emotionally as making a connection with someone.

[–]chikinpickle9 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Quit being such a pussy and live your life. That's how that kinda shit happens anyways. Not from picking up women in bars.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm gathering that from this thread. Thanks though man.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Keep this in mind: you're 19. Most of the people around you aren't interested in engaging or unique conversations. They're interested in sex, drugs, and partying. There will come a time, later in life and career, where you'll have colleagues and coworkers to have those conversations with. So, get your sex from those women but don't expect more out of them because they don't have anything to offer. Deep, philosophical conversations can be saved for friends or /r/theredpill.

[–]Travis_McGee0 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

But by that time, I'll just be dead to the idea of anything involving women. That's the part I don't like.

[–]RedSeddit 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Keep the important conversations on things like politics and philosophy to your male friends. Keep the lighthearted, flirtatious topics with women,

Your life will improve significantly. Your expecting them to be like men, and if you do that you will be disappointed every time.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm not expecting men, I'm just expecting something out of them. But I've seen now that this is wrong.

[–]Invincibull5 points 12 years ago [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

They are sex. That's all they are. Air headed, dull, and sexy.

It sounds like your expectations are too high. The way society is set up, the more beautiful the woman, the less effort she has to make to be interesting. Even if a good looking girl has the potential to be intellectual, it's way too easy to be distracted by all the attention she gets just for being pretty. Why work harder when you're rewarded handsomely just for being you?

So if you hope to find a good looking woman with whom you can actually have deep, rewarding conversations, I'll just say good luck with that.

Don't expect more from people than they are able to give. Enjoy the sex, get your intellectual satisfaction elsewhere.

[–]Travis_McGee2 points 12 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

That's my point, man. What hope is there for someone who wants more than looks?

[–]Invincibull5 points 12 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Short answer: almost none. You should align your wants to be more in line with reality. If you want water to flow uphill or dogs not to chase their tails, you'll be frustrated.

I've been exactly where you are. Furious and frustrated at the sheer vapid vacuousness of pretty women. But once you accept it you'll learn to enjoy them for what they are. Think of them as children or pets and you'll be much happier.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Then I'll almost certainly be a lonely man. I guess that's the pill for you though.

[–]Invincibull4 points 12 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Women don't help with loneliness, they just replace it with bullshit. If you're lonely, get a dog.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

My cat, who's been with me since I was maybe 6, is dying. I don't want another pet after that..

[–]TUVegeto137 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you want to have interesting conversations and interactions, you talk with men.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

This is the most common answer and clearly is something I should take to heart. Thank you.

[–]monsieurhire2 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wow, this sounds like me when I was your age.

Here are some protips that I wished I had learned sooner:

  1. Don't waste time on vapid people, even if they are attractive. As soon as you find out they are vapid, move on and look for someone you are attracted to, who is not vapid. Emphasis on attracted to, as opposed to "attractive."

  2. Attractiveness is heavily influenced by the media and peer pressure. A 6-8 with a great personality becomes a 9-10 as you get to know them, assuming you have the prerequisite biochemistry. Conversely, a 9-10 with a shitty personality will drop below a 5, meaning your active hatred of their character will interfere with your sexual attraction to them. However, oftentimes, you'll be fixated on them because you've been indoctrinated to view them as a prize to be fought over, when in fact, they're more like booby prize, a snare, a lure, etc.

So, don't waste time on people YOU don't like. There are billions of people on the planet.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

That's how I already go about meeting and interacting with people. The problem is that there aren't many people actually worth talking to.

[–]monsieurhire2 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup. That's very true. Most people aren't worth talking to.

However, you can narrow the pool of people that you swim in. You may want to try joining groups and activities that attract more intelligent, higher caliber people. Don't wait until you get into your mid-twenties or early thirties. Start joining professional associations, interest groups, political associations, etc. Cultivate hobbies and skills that require attributes that you seek in other people: discipline, intelligence, sensitivity. Also, join groups that you might think attract lower caliber people, and see compare them with the other groups. Sometimes people will surprise you.

Consider learning social dances. There are some attractive and intelligent women in them who are also hardworking, athletic and driven.

Also: talk is cheap and overrated. Action is more important. Talk is mostly important to the extent that it constitutes actions, as in communication coordinating activities.

[–]TheLameloid 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Don't expect to have mindblowing conversations with women. That's what bros are for.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

That's what I've learned from this thread.

[–]1Zackcid 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm the same age as you, but not successful as you are. You have so many years ahead of you and you don't know shit about what the future holds for you.

The impression I'm getting out of this post is "Yeah, I fucked bitches, but now it's getting boring. Been there, done that. What's next?" I've managed to turn Game into a passion and I know that this is a never-ending journey. You can ALWAYS improve, you can ALWAYS get into more crazier shit. More people to meet, more places to see.

I'd recommend you try out meditation or some psychedelics like Ayahuasca (DMT) to gain a new perspective of life and hopefully get out of this hole you're in. Check out Tyler from RSD as well, he's got some great words for people like you. Also, male friendships can fill some of that void too.

[–]Travis_McGee2 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Male friendship would be nice. The males around me are gone, or beta, or busy. I have experience with dmt (though not in it's Ayahuasca variant), shrooms, and acid. They are all very enjoyable. I think a lot will improve once I'm back on campus, and I see what you're saying about game. That's the way I view everything. I can always improve.

[–]cagethepepper 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Dude, I'm 22, I know exactly what you're talking about.

Most girls I've gotten with can't talk about anything outside of pop culture. That's ok. But if you try to talk about anything requiring more complexity they start swimming. I've even had some girls trying to impress me with their "smarts", only for me to realize that they didn't know shit about what they were talking about. However, they think they are pretty, so that's all that matters, and they don't have to truly better themselves.

There are people like us. I know guys who will fuck anything willing. I'm different, I need a little bit more, otherwise I might as well be jacking it. I've met some guys who are the same, but not a lot.

I think girls get a little better, in that respect, with age, but ultimately, not a lot. I don't know if you feel the same, but when I'm with girls I almost feel like I'm babysitting them. It's as if they are children and they are talking about children problems, and I'm an adult trying hard not to show that I don't give a fuck. They are just so boring. But, unfortunately, they are sex, so if I want sex I have to interact with them.

I think the advice here is solid. Don't look for something meaningful in sex. If you want meaningful conversations, look for someone smart, be it a guy or a girl. Look for fulfillment in something else, hobbies, work, studies, etc. Live your life, you are the captain of your own ship.

Women are not the center of the universe, despite what they themselves might think.

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I like and identify with a lot of what you said. And yes, I'm betting you and I are a minority among redpill men. I'm going to try to give up on the idea of a fulfilling connection with a girl and focus even more on myself. Thanks for taking the time to respond man. I appreciate it.

[–]Talkshitgethit 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You're in college FFS, if you get women, great. But don't forget, you're there for an education. Getting good grades/experience should be your number 1 priority.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Learning is always my first priority. I never said it wasn't.

[–]Talkshitgethit 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ahh, good then. Some people put game above everything else, when it shouldn't be. A good foundation is important, women should come after. Some guys don't get that concept.

I've only been to a few parties. They were small and relaxed which I like. When I say I'm out a lot I'm referring to my time spent downtown, hiking, meeting friends of friends. That sort of thing.

My attention is as much on myself as it can be. Also, I have already been doing much of what you suggested for a while now. I'm just getting to that point now where nothing is enjoyable.

Keep in mind: You're a boring troll.

As a woman, you're desperate to prove us wrong, but unable to do so. So you post something YOU THINK we'll agree with and then satisfy yourself that we'll be fooled by it.

Good for you. YOU GO GIRL!

[–]Travis_McGee1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Not a troll. I've posted here before when the sub first started. Also not a woman. Sorry pal.

[–]ursogaydontlikeboys -4 points-3 points-2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

well you could stop being a pompous whiny little bitch and that'd do the trick i'm sure.

jesus this thread is full of faux philosophical alphas. mark this day as when r/theredpill officially began its decline.

[–]Travis_McGee1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for your help and opinion. I'm sure you feel better about yourself for insulting a guy who wanted help.

[–]ursogaydontlikeboys -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you didn't want help you wanted validation for the fact that you can't connect to a woman about anything other than sex. you want to make sure that the blame can be placed upon the women and not shifted upon yourself for your own faulty communicative skills with the opposite sex.
