I've noticed that a large number of posts are from men in denial who promoted women to status of girlfriend without them earning the position. You should at the very least give the chance for a girl to fuck up. Based on what I see time and time again though, I wouldn't hold my breath on them over performing. Slowly over time, you'll discover that she takes trips alone, is on tinder etc. and if you had promoted her into LTR these go from legitimate reasons you should have denied the LTR into excuses and lead to a path of denial ending with her cheating on you, or even worse wasting your time when better long term prospects were available.

In this digital age you only have to provide an inch of the noose because many of these women will eventually hang themselves. Stop promoting them before they've earned their stripes. They hate it and you will to when they learn how easy you give away your attention. Give things enough time to develop while you scout the fuck out of these prospects but don't get them on a long term contract because they just made a single layup. It's about consistency, and if she trips and falls on a dick on her way to the basket even once, she's not part of your team.
