Found this sub-reddit like 5 hours ago through complete accident and I'm staying.

Wish it was around years ago after a DNA test showed I was paying child support for a child that wasn't mine for 3 - 4 years.

or when another ex swallowed a bunch of sleeping pills to fake a suicide attempt after I suggested she take a few more so I could not hear her yell at me again.

Being cheated on twice by another was probably the easiest experience to deal with.

Not to mention the bullshit I saw whilst working in Family Law.

There's been some stuff posted here thats been perhaps over the top for me but I reckon at least one of those incidents above would have been avoided had reddit been around back then, it definitely would have eased the hurt a by having a like-minded place to vent.

Every time I respond to a post like yours, I say the same thing: if you want a different type of content, post it yourself. You have to be the change you want to see. The main thing that links men in this sub is their strike of women (for whatever reason). That's what they're going to talk about a lot here (Alcoholics Anonymous talks about alcohol a lot). If you want to see something else, you should post it and spur good discussion. By saying MGTOW shouldn't talk about women, you're denying them their voice and ability to air their grievances.

The men talking about it are doing so because it gives them relief. They are not the only ones and they are not broke. Many are just in the red pill rage faze and eventually it will subside and they will no longer care. The reason you see so many posts is the men who no longer care usually won't post much and there are more and more men finding mgtow.

This subreddit gave me a place to vent when I had no other place to do it. I knew no one that would even bother to listen. Even my friends that were going through the same BS in their marriage that I was, would only listen for a minute or two and then they would say - move on and forget it. This place allows me to not only vent when I need to, it allows me to contribute my experience and advice having gone through a shitload.

Some posts are about things that apply to me and some aren't - but those that aren't will apply to someone else and so on.

If you don't ever find stuff on here that helps, that reinforces, that validates, that allows you to contribute... then this place isn't for you.

Some days things are great and I end up replying to people and it makes a difference and sometimes I just want to vent. This is a good place for me right now and I hope it always will be.

Yes, the redpillers and the chicks ruin some threads for me... oh well. I'll state my opinion or skip it. either way, this place saved my sanity and perhaps my life.

This strikes me as concern trolling and tone policing. This is a space where every guy can say what he wants to say about women and doesn't get chewed out for it. They can let out their red pill rage and voice their thoughts. The main repeating viscerol of 'women hate' as you describe it is to really engrain in Blue Pill men who come in here that it really is a serious thing going on - it's not enough to see a few articles, you might just write it off as to meeting the wrong girl. The ideas are really meant for newcomers who really need that push to become red pill.

The hobby discussion, testimonials, and other types of discussions are more suited for those who have been around for a while. Those tend to be balanced but if you see too many of those as a young guy, you may not get the context. You may still believe you have freedom whilst married - that you'll continue to enjoy your hobbies or will be able to take up new ones. One basically balances the other.

You have to understand that for those of us who are MGTOW, 99% of our lives are actually spent going MGTOW. I go to work, I save money, I have my luxury items, I have my entertainment and hobbies, I have friends and meaningful relationships with people, etc. Only a small fraction of my life is actually spent talking about this stuff.

Places like this are just where I go to get camaraderie and vent.

Also, MGTOWers who actually go MGTOW don't go here to post that. We go to subreddits like personalfinance, financialindependence, music, movies, cars etc when we actually do GHOW.

We come here to talk about MGTOW. When we actually go MGTOW, we post on other forums devoted to our hobbies and goals. But it is nice to have a place of like minded people to discuss it because a lot of us wonder if we made the wrong decision, and seeing stories of what is out there helps us realize we made the right choice.

No, not at all, I love shooting the shit with men on here, it's the only place on Reddit where I can actually speak my mind without having to filter anything, for example I'm pretty anti-porn but you guys don't give me shit for it.

What I'm noticing is alot of red pillers are coming here with their "I still need sex" bullshit excuse to put up with women's shit.

What I do see is alot of MGTOW hanging on to the hope that women will miraculously become submissive sex slaves if the laws change which will just mean back to the plantation they go.

Hey. No offence to anyone here, but I already got everything I wanted out of this sub since the past year. I've seen a lot of interesting posts here, some shaming posts, troll posts and many many more justified "anger phase" posts.

When I saw the influx of TRPs and all their dating advice and pussy-pedestaling, I decided this sub was no longer a place for me. It's usually women who ruin male spaces, but in this sub reddit's case it was TRPs who destroyed it.

I do lurk here once or twice a month in hopes that there maybe some "livin' the lifestyle" posts, but as of now I'm more focused on my career (which I enjoy) and my hobbies.

OP. I think if you can't gain anything from staying here, nothing is binding you. Leave and enjoy your life.

I love people like him... Tell him to go watch any mainstream TV comedy show. Look at the tone there... Showing men to be pathetic and that women are strong and capable... Yea we can write positive things to do, but there are other subreddits which we link to and go to.

This is a MGTOW subreddit... We didn't call it positive alternatives to women...

That is in particular womanish behavior to want to come in and change something that is clearly working for everyone else, all because they feel uneasy, especially when no one is forcing them to stay and there are numerous alternatives that they can go to that will meet what they want to change said place into.

Agreed..I've always though there was a bad tendency for MGTOWs to spend excess time talking about woman. In reality, women are a teeny tiny part of the MGTOW equation.
