Sorry to say this, but maybe they were never your friends.

TRUE friends will reply, others are just people you know but, who have most probably, moved on.

I deleted Facebook sometime ago, all my "friends" called or text me anyway, everyone else was just people I knew.

One of the things Facebook does is NOT show your posts to people all the time. Are you sending them messages individually? That is, messaging them?

Send them a message each asking them a question unrelated to anything... Once you do this, when you post something, your posts will show up in their feed. If they still don't after 2 weeks (not everyone checks incessantly), then fuck 'em.

I have had "friends" that I sent legit questions to.... then I give them 2 chances to answer. If after 2 months they don't reply - I deleted them as a friend. Never had a regret on that. And none of them tried to friend me back.

One guy was a hunting buddy. Cousin of a cousin. Legit question about hunting = no answer. A month later I made a comment and asked him something and waited a month = no answer. Deleted him. Fuck him. Nice guy, great hunter. But I have standards, damnit. That's just rude. I consider Facebook messages to be the same as sending an email or passing someone in the hallway. You say hello twice and they don't say hey back... BYE!!

Perhaps they find your messages annoying? I mean I'd feel pretty annoyed to respond if I got spammed with news I didn't care about. All possible reasons...

Guys are not the greatest communicators. Maybe they mean to reply to you. Or maybe they have nothing to reply with and opt instead not to waste your time.

Don't be so sensitive. Maybe you should give them a buzz sometime and see if they wanna hang out or catch a flick sometime.
