It goes beyond that. Women think their prime is much longer than it really is and that they can actively compete against a woman 10 years younger than her. Yeah a really attractive 35 year old woman can beat a dumpy 25 year old woman, but average to average and the older women are at an extreme disadvantage.

I have even heard this from obese chicks. There are enough guys out there who like fat chicks that its not a problem for them. But they fear getting old. Because for an old chick the age of the dudes that are interested in them skyrockets. A 50 year old woman will have a lot of dudes shooting 70 who are into her while a 50 year old man will have the option of a chick who is 40 (and in some cases much younger).
