Because SAHM aren't feminists. Feminists softened their women hatred for doing that and claiming it's a valid choice (not) which is why Home Ec is filled with required classes in gender studies.

Thanks for feminism, most women/girls/whatevers today can barely adult, whereas men are making leaps and bounds into domestic skills, what with them being easy as fuck and some of them, like cooking, being both fun and having a reward system.

It has also made women's last actual relationship value disappear.

And to think, you can completely remove women from your life with a fleshlight and making a chicken pot pie.

I think it’s because housework is necessary but not glamorous and is a support role meaning there is an objective family hierarchy and the wife comes second to the man.

It’s a trade off though, being second means all the responsibilities falls on the man.

Life is about perspective and feminists have highlighted and demonized this hierarchy while ignoring the sweet deal women get by trading their domestic work for the man’s resources.

My take is a derivation of penis envy. Think of "The head of the household", "an independent person" or a "person of strong character". Most likely, you though of a male for each mental image.

A strong independent woman takes on the brash stereotype of a man because they want to usurp the man's position as head of the household.

With this in mind, it makes sense that they'd never want to settle for second place (even though they often don't even deserve that).

I think liberal democracy went too far with individualism.

We are not all capable of the same things and we don't all learn the same way.

Public school is a failed " one size fits all" type of system with the same dumbed down curriculum for many years.

Of course its also horribly riddled with many other propagandized social agendas inserted into the core of the new curriculum that replaced actual traditional educational subjects and classes involving math ,science and language arts.

The world needs plumbers, carpenters and cooks too is my point.

Not everyones gonna be a Dr , or an attorney or a CEO of some large company etc etc.

And there is nothing wrong with these other careers.

If you live modestly within your means you can actually build wealth.

Everyone is taught they are some special movie star or some crap and its pretty weak shit that has weakened the fuck out of this country.

The breakdown of family, morals and tradition have consequences and we are now starting to see some of the rust from erosion of neoliberal socialism.

America has been a socialist democratic country for a long time...

Long gone are the days of a constitutional republic.

Projection. They wish the men in their life could provide them the option of not working. Women generally do not enjoy leaving their babies everyday, otherwise they'd never take maternity leave. It seems like women look down on staying at home and maintaining the house and children.

Because, to be quite honest, it’s a position that should be looked down on. What’s respectable about leeching off a provider while putting in, at most, 8 hours of work per week (cooking and cleaning don’t take that much time now that vacuum cleaners and microwaves exist, and most housewives don’t homeschool)?
