Desperation and / or spite are the only situations in which a woman will muster up the motivation to do something by herself, for herself.

Specifically, revenge seems to be the more salient impetus for action for women more so than the desire for self-improvement. If dissimulation is of no use for them to get what they want or has no effect to beat their competition, it seems they will default to seek revenge.

For example, in an attachment relevant context, the nastiest (and most pathetic) woman will drop her own standards and forego her hypergamous instincts by shacking up with a man of lower value after a break up with her ex without even making any effort to improve herself (whether physically, emotionally, intellectually, etc) just in sheer desperation to spite him. In the workplace, women invest (or otherwise squander) so much time and energy conspiring to destroy the reputation of a male colleague simply because he bruised their ego by working harder than them and doing a better job.

TL/DR Women will make a genuine effort to act out malicious intent and find revenge more gratifying than actual self-improvement. If they lack the effort because they are too fucking lazy, they will act in desperation and forego their own instincts / self-interests to seek the same outcome (revenge / spite).
